Abstract

This publication offers an introduction to some ways in which partnership work between creative media practitioners and schools, can enhance the learning opportunties of children and young people. The Blueboard publication aims to share the key learning journeys, outcomes and models of effective practice indentified in the course of a year-long digital media residency with schools. This publication was written collectively by members of four reputable community media organisation in South West UK: Calling the Shots, Firstborn Creatives, Knowle West Media Centre and Suited & Booted.
