Abstract

Between March and December 2008 Jane Arthurs was co-editor, with Usha Zacharias, of the Commentary and Criticism Section of this journal, which included topical short essays themed around issues of significance to feminist media studies either from a methodological, critical or political point of view. This article covered the politics of the ‘affective turn’ in critical theory.
