Abstract

To support the University’s research aspirations, UWE Library Services investigated the particular information needs of the University’s research community. Funding from the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences (HLS) enabled Library staff to conduct a pilot survey of HLS researchers. Following an evaluation of the pilot study, the survey was extended to researchers across the university, and the results of this are presented in this paper. Findings from the survey will inform Library Services’ strategy to support the information needs of researchers. This paper briefly outlines the process and key findings of the university wide survey.
