Abstract

Presentation given at “With a little help from our friends”: Collaboration and art libraries at Westminster Reference Library, December 2010 Libraries are increasingly looking beyond their doors to engage with outside partners in projects and events that will place their importance firmly in their communities. This event showcased some of the collaborative work done with artists and performers in Westminster and Bristol, and collaboration with organisations in preparing our collections for a wider audience. We also looked at the importance of collaboration in a wider context in the changing world, and invited ideas and discussion. This event was organised by the ARLIS Education and Professional Development Committee
