Additional Information:This edited volume draws on the extensive experiences of the editors as music therapy practitioners, researchers and trainers. It explores music therapy as both an allied health profession contributing to health policy and as an academic discipline. The editors were responsible for the historical and theoretical overviews and sections on practical and professional resources and research. Bunt's recent collaborative work at UWE in the field of cancer care formed the basis of the research-based section. Leading practitioners were invited to contribute case material. Bunt wrote 3 of the 15 chapters and was jointly responsible for a further 6.
