Abstract

This chapter explores the dynamics of Higher Education Institutions working with non-academic partner organisations. The chapter engages in dialogue with key individuals in these partnerships, discussing key issues experienced throughout the Creative Citizens research project.

The style of the chapter sees the interview material punctuate the chapter inbetween contextual text and comment written by the research team, weaving the interviews into a discursive narrative. The chapter concludes with reflections on how the participants felt these challenges were addressed and how researchers and designers can develop and refine their methods for future research of this kind.
