Abstract
The book translates two essays by Bernard Stiegler concerning his pathway to studying philosophy, his interest in an engaged philosophical practice relevant to the contemporary world, and his analysis of significant social and cultural problems related to the prevalence of a capitalist and commercial logic informing the globalizing digital media transformation in train today.
