Abstract

This article applies a policy analysis framework to make sense of the tensions and complexities of UK sexual health policy. It suggests the importance of the emergence of a sexual health policy community and identifies key omissions and silences in policy. It builds on a number of previous papers and externally funded research projects by Evans on more specific aspects of sexual health policy. The paper integrates historical and contemporary policy analysis to place recent policy developments in a longer term context.
