Abstract

This paper describes, for the first time, a strategy for the one-step fabrication of an amperometric glucose biosensor, using a water-based composite ink in conjunction with screen-printing technology. This approach has formed the basis for biosensor fabrication in a major project (£1.6M) funded under the Micro and Nano Technology initiative.
