Issa, A. , Odeh, M. ed and Coward, D. (2006) Using use-case patterns to estimate reusability in software systems. Journal of Information and Software Technology, 48 (9). pp. 836-845. This work is part of current Ph.D. research, that will form the basis for a forthcoming bid for the development of use-case based software cost estimation models, given that the main outcomes of this research are that 43% of system functions are generally application domain independent, and 57% are application domain dependent.
