Abstract

This paper resulted from an invited talk at the 3rd International HealthGrid conference held in Oxford, April 2005, at which the first results from the software engineering of the MammoGrid breast imaging Grid application were reported. It represents the first experiential results from any medical application domain using Grids and has already been cited by numerous other Grid-based medical informatics projects.
