| Additional Information: | This paper describes the state space representation of the voltage sourced inverter that forms the building block of modern Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS), for devising the control algorithm of the dc link voltage and the output voltage. The method can also be used for inclusion of FACTS Devices in Power Flow solution. The outcome of this work has been exploited by Areva (Staffs, contact Dr R Mukhedkar) for its robustness, reliability and applicability to HVDC commercial projects. |
