Additional Information:Youth and Policy was chosen for this paper from a desire to contribute to critical discourses about youth participation, homelessness and social exclusion. Based on research with a national children's charity the paper provides a critique of current policy and practice with regard to youth participation, providing instead an alternative social justice model for youth participation. The model proposed has been implemented in practice by the charity to lobby Central Government. Contribution 70%.
