Abstract

This article reports the findings of a project carried out whilst working in a college of further education. The article examines provision of higher education within further education institutions from the point of view of lecturers. This aspect of educational provision has gained markedly in political significance and is now the focus of ESRC funded work by Bathmaker and others. The paper was one of the first to examine the issue in a sector that was, until recently, under-researched.
