| Additional Information: | This is the first book to explore the relationship between new approaches to building leadership capacity in schools and the current policy driver of personalised learning. It builds on previous research by Ritchie on leadership and school improvement (Ritchie, 1999 (with Bell), 2000 (with Ikin), 2007 (with Woods)) and links this with his work on learning (Ritchie, 1997 [with Ollerenshaw], 2001) and Deakin-Crick's work on learning power (Deakin-Crick, 2006). It includes new case study material from schools. Dissemination and impact of this work is evident through local, regional, national and international CPD and invited keynotes and inputs (for example the South Gloucestershire Leadership Academy's International Symposium, July 2007). Ritchie was responsible for 50% of this item.
