With reference to paragraph 44 of the RAE2008 Guidance on Submissions document, there is a letter available from Vallentine Mitchell publishers confirming this fact. The letter states further that 'the inclusion of the 2008 copyright date is a longstanding company practice reflecting the fact that the book was produced in the new academic year which we think of as the 2008 year'. |
