Additional Information:Single authored chapter in catalogue for the exhibition 'Protections: This is not an Exhibition', offering a consideration of the exhibition as situation within the context of the discourse of New Institutionalism for contemporary visual art galleries and museums. The text was expanded from an original text for Engage Journal of Gallery Education, which was based on research into the nature of display and presentation, presented and discussed as a key text at the Organisational Art Summit in Copenhagen in 2004. Doherty was subsequently invited to give a lecture as part of the Steirischer Herbst Festival in Graz, Austria and one of the Blumenberg lectures by the University of Muenster as part of the Sculpture Projects Muenster 07 . She also contributed to the Sculpture Projects Muenster catalogue (Walther Koenig Books, 2007) with glossary entries on New Institutionalism and Performative Curating and has been invited to co-curate the Chronometer exhibition at Das Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berlin, 2009 and was invited to advise on the Cultural Olympiad Mobile Tate project 2007-12.
