Abstract
This book documents and provides a critical context for 5 temporary public art works that took place in May 2008, made by artists Alastair MacLennan, Simon Whitehead, Maura Hazelden, Yvonne Buchheim and Anna Lucas. My chapter discusses the relationship between walking and singing in the context of the work and the issue of the presence of absence in the context of ritual activities.
