Abstract

Through a focus on visibility/invisibility, the workshop established networking links, tracked changes patterns of representation and established shared intellectual terrain in areas of inclusion and exclusion, between scholars working on the proliferation of representations of older women in contemporary media from Media and Cultural Studies, Gerontology, Social Policy, Film Studies, Drama, English.
